Are you called to be a

Catechist or a Catechist Aide?

A catechist must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic who is at least twenty-one. A catechist is a person with a positive attitude and willingness to share their faith with our children and youth. Responsibilities include attendance at catechist meetings, class preparation time, and presence at every class. A catechist aide must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic who is at least sixteen. A catechist aide is a person with a positive attitude and has a willingness to share their faith with our children and youth. Responsibilities include attendance at catechist meetings, presences at every class and assisting the head catechist. In addition, a catechist aide who is 17 years of age and older must complete the Youth Protection Program with the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown to work with children: Youth Protection Information Page

Catechists Aides for primary level classes

are needed for the 2022-2023 school year.

Class is held 10:30am-11:20am on Sundays.
