Elementary and Middle School Texts
Grades K, 3, 4, and 5
Finding God, published by Loyola Press. These texts are built around the four pillars of the Catholic Catechism: the Creed (beliefs); Sacraments (worship); Morality (how we live) and Prayer. The curriculum spirals, meaning that these main areas repeat each year but are covered more deeply with age appropriate content and activities.
Faith and Life Series by Ignatius Press. 1st, 2nd, and Middle School Youth (6-8) use the Faith and Life series by Ignatius Press. First and Second Grades learn about their faith and prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Reconciliation.
